While UpLIFT Nola is already an intimate studio with small class sizes, out of an abundance of caution and care, we are limiting in-person services. Check out these online services being offered via Zoom.
Monday Group Meditation
Join us for this weekly small group meditation on Mondays at 7 p.m. Led by Alan, this session offers a weekly opportunity to use gentle movement and breath work to aid with stress management and focus. This is a donation based, group session with all donations going to Positive Impact, a non-profit youth community service organization: http://www.positiveimpactnola.com

Private Yoga Classes Online
We miss seeing all of you in the studio, but that doesn't mean you can't get on the mat to practice with us. We are now offering private group yoga classes by appointment.
These are online classes, taught via Zoom, with a minimum group size of 6 participants.

Led by Alan every other week on Thursday at 10 a.m., this evidence-based practice is validated by neuroscience, trauma research and somatic psychology.

Painting with Peggy is Back: In person
Join us for in-person, weekly art classes with Peggy. Regardless of whether you are new to painting, or you are rekindling an old love of art, this weekly class will meet you wherever you are.

The world can be so loud and hectic, but through regular yoga practice you can align and calm your mind, body and spirit. UpLIFT Nola teaches a variety of yoga forms in a non-dogmatic manner that honors and welcomes everyone. From vinyasa, restorative, and yin to hatha and special courses for yoga beginners and kids, we hope you find a practice that meets your needs.
Utilizing active yoga postures, breathing techniques and centering methods, our meditation class helps build greater self-awareness and impulse control while allowing students to better manage stress and anxiety. UpLIFT Nola offers a regular weekly group practice as well as specialized training workshops for educators and those working in school settings.

Remember all the hours you spent as a child coloring and letting your imagination go wild? It's never too late to bring back that feeling with our weekly art classes. Using a non-toxic oil painting method, Peggy (who reclaimed her own passion for art after retiring) leads students through a weekly 2-hour class.
UpLIFT Nola has partnered with Nola Mobile Spa, a complete luxury mobile spa service for your every need. Nola Mobile Spa (by Greenstone Therapy) offers treatments for individuals, couples, spa parties, groups, corporate events production companies and much more!
Owner Jade Pappion is a New Orleans native, and through Nola Mobile Spa and Greenstone Therapy she caters to clientele in New Orleans and Los Angeles.

UpLIFT Nola is located in the beautiful, historic Algiers Point neighborhood on the Westbank of New Orleans. The studio is more than 100 years old and has served the community in numerous capacities, but today it offers a quaint and quiet place to rejuvenate. Our teachers use dynamic mindfulness, meditation, yoga, art and other wellness practices to help students shake off the stress of life and restore balance.
Owners Alan and Michelle Delery are both New Orleans natives. Alan is a Dynamic Mindfulness certified trainer with the Niroga Institute of Oakland, Ca. He has taught restorative approaches and conflict resolution in and around the region for more than 20 years. Michelle is a professional communications and public relations consultant and passionate student of yoga.
